I'm a bit late but god, I am so sorry to hear your loss. Were you close with your dad? If so...god, I'm so sorry. I experienced that myself a few years ago and it nearly broke me. Please cherish what his life was and celebrate the lovely man he was! <3

I can't imagine what you must be feeling. My father is 86 and I am so lucky to still have him with me. I hope you have someone to be with at this time and can take the time you need to grieve, reflect and take stock. I also know that the hurt and grief at the loss of a parent can linger so be kind to yourself over the coming weeks and months. Staying connected is important though so if this community helps you do that, it has value but if you need to find that elsewhere then that is fine too. Sending you my warmest wishes.
